Some basic challenge creation fields apply to all challenge types.
The first are the date fields - use these to set the start and end dates of your challenges. Make sure to adjust the time zone for your profile in the Settings menu to get a handle on when your challenges will be starting and ending!
As a tip, make sure to schedule challenges to start and end such that there aren't too many challenges available at once - this will prevent ambassadors from "spamming" when they have too many challenges available, and reward consistent engagement with the program.
In addition, make sure to adjust your publishing time; while the default is midnight, you might want to publish challenges at 9:00 in the morning or 5:00 in the afternoon to maximize engagement.
The Points field determines the point value of the challenge; reference your reward costs in-app to get a sense of how many points any given challenge should be worth!
Further to the bottom, the Upload challenge image field allows you to set the image that ambassadors see in-app when viewing the challenge. Note that this image is not necessarily what ambassadors will be sharing for challenge types that require ambassadors to share an image.
The Call to Action text adds specific instruction on top of the general challenge type instruction in the description - use this field to let your ambassadors know how to complete this challenge.
Once you're done setting up your challenge, you can either Save or Publish your challenge. Published challenges will appear on the Live tab of the Challenges section, with a green circle if they are currently appearing in the app or a yellow triangle if they are ready to go but the start date has not been met yet. Saved drafts will appear in the Draft tab.
You can also find suggested challenges auto-generated by your Facebook posts in the Suggested tab - you can publish these challenges right away, or tweak and then publish. Contact your Customer Success rep for more details about connecting your Facebook!
