Content submitted by ambassadors for manual challenges and other challenge types that require review can be approved or rejected in the Review Content section of the Admin Web Portal. Read on to learn more about how you can interact with your user's manual content submissions!
Configuring Content Approval Workflow on Challenges
Manual, postering, and flyering challenges all require that users submit images as proof of task completion. The Review Content tab is where you can interact with that content, but first you'll have to set up challenges that prompt users to submit content.
Open the challenge creation window by heading to the challenges tab and pressing +CREATE. Using any of the three types of challenges above, start configuring your new challenge. The most important part of challenge creation as far as reviewing content is concerned is the Require review? option.
By checking this box or leaving it unchecked, organizers can set up two different workflows for reviewing submitted content and awarding points to users in-app. If unchecked, submissions will be approved and points will be awarded automatically upon submitting content, with the opportunity for organizers to later revoke those points by rejecting the content. If the box is checked, submissions will be queued for either approval or rejection, and will only be counted as successful submissions and awarded points upon approval by an organizer.

Review Content Overview
To review content submitted by ambassadors, log into the Admin Web Portal and head to the left hand side of the Admin Web Portal and click the Review Content link. You will see a card for every content submission that your users have uploaded.
To organize all of the content and easily find the submissions you’re looking for, use the sorting and filtering options found at the top of the page. This will allow you to view user content for different challenge types and different forms of content. In addition, you can also sort the content by ‘approved, not reviewed or rejected’, by clicking the More dropdown tab at the top. You can also use the search function to easily find submissions from a specific challenge or user. There is also an option to filter by 'Campaign.'
Approving & Rejecting Content
To interact with user submissions, simply place your mouse cursor over the submissions card. Interaction options will appear on the card. Expand the submission to view more information by clicking on the submission card.
Challenges Not for Review: If the challenge is not configured to require review, only a red X will appear when the submission card is moused over. Manual challenges that do not require review will automatically award points, although you can still view and reject submissions to revoke the awarded points.
To reject the submission, simply click the red X on the submission card. A pop-up box will appear labeled Reject Message - this message will appear to the user in-app along with a notification that their submission has been rejected.
Try to provide users with an explanation of why their submission has been rejected and instructions to improve their next submission!
Challenges That Require Review: Challenges that require review reverse the point award flow - instead of automatically awarding points, submissions need to approved using Review Content before the user will receive points.
You can reject submissions similarly to challenges that don’t require review, along with a rejection message. To approve submissions, simply click the green check mark!
