Setting Up Your Instagram Account to Complete Instagram Story Challenges on the SocialLadder Dashboard

To complete Instagram Story challenges, you’ll want to connect your Facebook and Instagram Creator accounts to a Facebook Brand page. Follow the steps below to get started!

Note: To make your account a Creator account, you must make your Instagram account public.

Step 1: Set up a Creator account on Instagram

1. Open your Instagram app and click on your profile icon. Open your account settings by clicking on the menu at the top right-hand corner of your profile and choosing “Settings and Privacy.” Under "For Professionals" select "Account type and tools".
2. Under "Account type", choose "Switch to professional account".
3. Go through the steps to set up your Professional account by answering the prompts from Instagram.
4. Now that your Creator account is set up, it’s time to link this with your Facebook profile and page.
5. Head to Settings and Privacy and click "Accounts Center".

6. Click "Accounts"

7. Click "Add accounts" and follow the on-screen Instructions.

Step 2: Connect your Facebook account to your Instagram account

1. Open your Instagram app and click on your profile icon. Open your account settings by clicking on the menu at the top right-hand corner of your profile and choosing “Settings & Privacy.” Under "For Professionals", click "Creator tools and controls".

   

2. Select "Connect a Facebook Page". Select "Continue" and follow the steps to connect your two accounts.

   

Step 3: Connect your Facebook & Instagram accounts to SocialLadder

1. Log into your SocialLadder account and click on "Settings". Under "Networks" click on "Facebook" and "Instagram".

   

2. Once you have connected both, you can head over to the Instagram Story challenge, and follow the onscreen instructions to make sure that your IG and FB Brand page are properly configured.

   

3. You can now hit "Refresh Challenge" and submit your content.
